Transfer to Domestic airport for flight to Srinagar situated 5200 ft above sea level. Depart early morning from Srinagar for Kargil ( 204 ) km via Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold) at a distance of 86 km, situated at a height of 8900 feet above sea level.  The distance will take about 3 hours to drive up to Sonamarg which goes along the Sindh River.  It is also known as the Sindh Valley Tour. The drive is very spectacular with beautiful sceneries along the way. Stop at Sonmarg for wonderful pictures, Tea / Coffee and washroom. Later drive to Kargil 120 Km via Zojila Pass (3529 m),  a scenic drive all the way up to the Pass after crossing Zojila Pass the landscape completely changes.  Drive through Drass Town the second coldest habitant place in the world, and enjoy some time exploring Kargil town, here you will see the people are different and these are of Dards Stock which are found in the Baltistan region of the western Himalayas. Explore this wonderful mountain town where you will see beautiful faces of local people, Explore the Kargil Town and see the exotic faces of this Mountain town having Chinese and Central Asian influence due to Silk Route traders from Kashgar passing through this town. Visit Sankoo village of Suru Valley, en route visit Sankoo Village and PaniKar Village, which is about 65 Kms drive away, the lower portion of  Suru Valley offers a panoramic view,  this is one of the best green belt Areas and can visit a few nice villages, A 7 Mts high rock sculpture of  Buddha Maitreya at KARTSE NEAR Sankoo. Also, you can see the highest peaks of Kashmir Nun & Kun two Peaks which are about 7135 & 7035 Mts high from sea level some of the most adventurous treks start from this village Towards Kashmir valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of Nun Kun Majestic Himalayan peaks just you Feel like the majestic peaks are just above you after noon return to the Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at the Hotel at Kargil.

After breakfast drive to Srinagar via Zojila pass, 204 Kms, stop at Sonmarg for the scenic view of the Himalayan mountains, have Tea coffee, spend some time here or take a pony ride to Thajwas Glacier at your own Cost.
